Hi Kate- very nicely captured! We had one of these show up in one of our fields five years back- had never seen one of these here before! It left, and we have never seen one since!! Quite a surprise to see it, and I have a picture of it here in my site!! F&L!!

Thanks so much Will, they are unusual looking for sure. It's my understanding they are domestic, raised for meat, so your visitor may've come from a farm.

Thanks very much Janet! Indeed, they are strange-looking ducks. Bred domestically, some escape or are off-loaded to the park, where I'm sure they're much happier!
